"This essay is off to a good start, with a clear thesis and body paragraphs that maintain that focus. A number of grammar and punctuation errors, however, make the reading experience rather bumpy, forcing the reader's attention away from the discussion. A thorough proofread will help catch these issues and move you toward a final draft-ready experience for your readers. (While doing so, clean up the punctuation around the in-text citations, as well; periods and commas will come after the parentheses.)

Relative to the other paragraphs, the concluding paragraph is rather long. I suggest reading carefully through the conclusion on a sentence-by-sentence basis and considering if each point needs to appear in the conclusion. Sentences that repeat information from the body should only do so briefly to establish the final points of the claim; sentences introducing new information should be integrated into the body paragraphs to avoid overloading the reader at the last minute."
