The Story of Three Church Masses This is a story of three separate church masses Each mass has their worth of content and each mass has their own believers and supporters The first mass visited was a small mass in the Chapel of the Xavier Dormitory at the University of San Francisco It was held on a Monday evening and started around 830 in the evening The presiding Priest was Jesuit Father Peter J Togni and this priest for this Priest is known for his own particular style by which masses are held The standard Catholic tradition is held throughout the whole mass holding its respect and integrity as a catholic chapel mass except for the way that Father Togni brings the patrons of the church closer together After the various readings are presented Father Togni will break the gospel down and make sure that the meaning is understood in his sermon After the sermon if the number of patrons is small enough everyone is called around the Fathers table to see the breaking of the bread up close This process allows everyone to feel the effect of the Fathers actions as he breaks the bread and talks about the death of Jesus Christ After communion the final blessing was given along with announcements and the patron began to disperse After mass was complete a few patrons that just happen to be students in Father Tognis academic class volunteered to help in cleaning the chapel This mass was a standard evening mass held every weekday Because of Father Tognis character the mass was quite personalized and performed quite well The last time a Priest has performed a mass in a unique in my humble opinion was a Sunday morning mass performed in the Saint Francis of Assisi church in Singapore The second mass attended was a mass performed in the same chapel on a different night with a different Priest A Franciscan Priest whose
