Kegan OBrien2nd hourThe VirusA strong breeze tangled through her blonde hair pulling it across her dirt stained face Wheat fields swayed unable to remain steady against the pull Dark clouds painted the once blue sky filling the air with a scent of rain preparing the atmosphere for a storm Chelsea grasped at the dead grass unable to pull herself up her body stiff with exhaustion and terror Her once white tank top clung to her body sticky with sweat Her jeans now ripped and torn rested fittingly at her hipsUp ahead against the grey horizon stood a lonely farm house Dark and big looming over the field The shutters on the windows hung loose smacking the chipped wall in tune with the wind The wooden porch falling a part creaked and moaned as if it were trying to speak The two story house once someones home is now nothing more than an abandoned structure and Chelseas only hope She lay there motionless for sometime Some part of her still waiting to wake up in Marquette at home She pushes the thoughts aside Its just me now she thinks just meChelseas thoughts are quickly interrupted A quiet crunch of leaves sends her heart brusting into an uncontrollable race Her body tenses and she can feel sweat run down her temple Her eyes are wide and despite the gloomy atmosphere they remain a watery blue A healthy blueAnother crunch this time closer was sounded to her right She was too afraid to move She didnt want to see it but more importantly she didnt want it to see her As her quieted her breathing she could begun to hear its breathing an uneven rasp like a child with asthma Now panicing Chelsea was left without a choice Run Without even thinking her body snapped up For a moment her legs siezed unable to move she stood in horror as she finally caught sight of her perpetrator After
