In an article from USA Todays technology section columnist Jefferson Graham writes about a woman named Susan Wojcicki and how she played a part in the creation of Googlecom one of the largest search engines on the Internet today Susan doesnt have much to do with the story other than the fact that she rented a room to Larry Page and Sergey Brin back in 1998 when they came up with the idea to create Googlecom Just a short time after it was launched the search engine was one of the biggest sites of its kind on the Internet Google is the most comprehensive search engine on the web and has gotten to a point so large that at least 75 of all Internet searches are run through it In just its five year existence Google has gotten so large that it is now the base for searches on AOL Yahoo and many other search sites In what could basically be called a monopoly of sorts Google has gone on to either flatten its rivals or force them to become customers of their services There is a good possibility that if you are on the Internet for any amount of time during the day that you will wind up using Google in some capacity during that time frame Danny Sultan editor of the Search Engine Watch online newsletter has said it has gotten so big that people are starting to believe that if its not in Google it doesnt exist Google has become a very vital part of everyday existence and in a manner is seen as a deity to some due to its vast reaches of knowledge To summarize Google was created as just a little search engine just 5 years ago and is now the largest search engine on the Internet As they celebrated their fifth anniversary on September 7th this year they have grown to not only search for
