I was sitting at the window like usual looking out the window the sunwas shining and everyone was having lunch I then saw Scout walk out thedoor of her house with another boy who at first I thought was Jem butat second look I realised that it wasnt and I had not seen him beforethey both looked very similar so I thought they must be related Scouthad her air rifle and was waiting on her porch while the other boy hadgone to the foot path A few minutes later Dill walked out and startedtalking to Scout I was wondering what they could be talking about Ilooked back at them and Dill kissed Scout on the cheek and walked backinside Scout then jumped off the porch and went over to the other boyThey started walking towards my house They were talking but I couldnthear them I was wondering about what they were going to do today and the TomRobinson case when I saw the kids appear outside my house Wheres theschool yard Scout the boy I didnt know said Its past the tree yonder Scout pointed to the tree where I had hidthings for them during school I soon saw Jem and Dill appear next to Scout Whats happening Jemasked Scout Francis wanted to know where the school yard was so Itold him it was yonder Scout told Jem and Dill what Francis - the boyI hadnt seen before - had asked Lets keep going now or well have no time to play Jem startedwalking off with Dill and Scout not too far behind Francis had stayedstill though I was wondering what he was doing Jem give me yourrifle Jem turned around looking just confused as I was What Give me your rifle Francis asked again and Dill and Scout had comeback over to Jem Why I want to shoot at the window he pointed at the window I was sittingat and I saw the other
