Marilyn Monroe a whirl wind of a life a troubled young girl turned famous movie star to a woman in a web of lies and controversy until an eventual death that is still disputed to this day Throughout the 1950s and in to the early 1960s she was on the lips of Americans from coast to coast the press was all but obsessed with her and the life she lead Marilyn is the true American story of coming from nothing and making a life of everything all the glitz and glamour that could be dreamt of she is the American movie star dream She came from a past that would haunt the future of any human being she overcame a past that would make her appreciate they luxuries that she came to have but the past would come up to overcome her and she would battle depression and drug abuse in order to attempt to deal with it unfortunately the drugs and depression would win in the end taking her life at the young age of 36 She had little to no structure in her early life bouncing from foster home to foster home then being pushed into a forced marriage of convenience without love She first became a military wife that just wanted a family and to be loved by her husband but that all ended one fateful day when a photographer came to the factory where she worked She soon began a modeling career and moved upward from there She was passionate about acting she always wanted to better herself and continue with more challenging roles Monroe was always seeking an education and a better understanding of the world around her she wanted nothing but to enrich her experience She made many changes in her life during this period including her name eventually it lead to a contract with 20th Century Fox After ending her first marriage she struggled to find work and
