"You have done an excellent job with the formatting of your paper. It is neat throughout, making it easier for the reader to understand. The following areas of the piece you did well on are focus/purpose, content, and conventions. You can improve focus/purpose by working on the organization of your paper. As written, your essay does not include a clear introduction or conclusion. An introduction should let the reader know what the topic of your paper is, give some background information about it, and let the reader understand the overall goal of your essay and how you will reach it (the thesis statement). The conclusion should summarize the main points you made in the body of the paper and should relate them to the thesis statement. Doing these two things will communicate to the reader the purpose of your essay and allow the reader to see that you remained focused on that purpose throughout your writing. Having an introduction with a clear thesis statement will also improve the content of your paper. Some places could be elaborated upon or could use some transition words, phrases, or sentences to create a clear relationship between ideas. Last, overall the conventions of your paper are handled well. There are some places where punctuation could be better and some places with word choice errors. Consider having your writing go through a round of proofreading to resolve these issues."
