"You make a good point about the duality of Odysseus, and your examples from the text back this up. To shape this into a more active guiding thesis, I recommend thinking about how you present the evidence. For example, in para. 3, you explain the "clever" things he does and then give all the "stupid" things he does. However, most of those work in pairs (e.g., Polyphemus and his name). Would presenting each event to show how the clever and the stupid exist side by side help back up your thesis more forcefully? I also recommend defining what a hero is in your first paragraph. You name a few different elements, including facing challenges, returning home against all odds... For example, I'm curious if you think Odysseus is heroic because of his dual nature or if you think he is heroic because he learns the lessons from the troubles caused by this.

At other points of the discussion, diction issues, errors, and typos get in the way of clarity. Proofread carefully to make sure all your ideas are coming through clearly. You want your readers to be able to focus on the discussion without distraction."
