Jim's feedback:
"Your rousing introduction would benefit from the deletion of the first two sentences. You should write out “twentieth.” You should italicize film titles, and the possessive form of “it” is “its.” You mismatch a subject and verb in more than one case. As a modifier, “100 percent” should be hyphenated; “byproduct” and “outcompete” are not hyphenated. It is good practice to avoid contractions and other informal terms. “Cannot” is one word. You misspell “States.” Your statement that Hawaii made hemp history is confusing at first because it resembles a common slang expression for putting someone or something away. You wait until late in the essay to explain why hemp is illegal. You should move that information to the top. You write quotations without attribution, and your abundant information is undocumented. If you want to make a convincing argument, you need the authority that comes from documented facts."
