Discrimination is a creature that binds and spins in history making everything unequal and chaotic destroying peoples lives and hopes but makes people wonder about lifes greatest mistakes Discrimination is unequal treatment provided to one or more parties on the basis of a mutual accord or some other logical or illogical reason Discrimination can either be used as racism sexism mentallyphysically retarded In the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck illustrates about two friends George and Lennie who undergo many hardships and triumphs considering Lennies learning disability They end up in a ranch and encounter many people and try to obtain enough money to earn a good living While working in the ranch Lennie physical body betrays him and hurts people on the ranch including Curleys wife and is being hunt down by the ranchers and is going to get lynched In the end George remembers the past things they accomplished together and feels sorry for Lennie and later kills him In the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck explains that discrimination is used in various ways in order to inform the readers about how discrimination can influence peoples lives like Crooks and Lennie in numerous ways including Racism and discrimination against the mentally retarded One type of discrimination is discrimination with Racism Racism is abeliefordoctrine that inherit differences among the various human races determine cultural and individual achievement and usually involving the ideas that one race is more superior then another Crooks the stable boy black man with a lean head lined with pain the eyes patient and quiet He is also known for being very educated intelligent and lonely and for being a reader Steinbeck is being discriminated in the book for being the only black man on the ranch In the novel Crooks says Lennie Well I got a right to have a light You go on get outa my room I aint wanted in the
