Jim's feedback:
"This paper is clearly written and well organized. “Make up” consists of two words as used in this paper. Common nouns (isomerase) should not be capitalized; this issue occurs often later in the document. While there can be exceptions in science writing, numbers should be spelled out. Depending on the format, this can apply to numbers through nine, or in some formats, any number that can be spelled in one or two words. In this paper, we see “2 ATP and two NADH.” Regardless of the format, there should be consistency in this expression. A comma splice is the use of a comma to separate what should be two sentences. This occurs at least once (“Humans cannot ferment …”). A superfluous comma (“will also ferment pyruvic acid …”) causes confusion, and should be deleted. There is no apostrophe in “Krebs.” As a modifier, “higher energy” should be hyphenated."
