A tragedy is never forgotten As the years go on people start tothink less and less about a horrific event but the event is neverforgotten People will try to put their past in the past and look to thenear future but the memories and embedded into their brains Should thetragic stories be told or be put behind all of us and just keep movingonThe Holocaust is one of the most catastrophic events in history whereso many lives were lost so many people were forgotten and so manystories remain untold At least Elie Wiesels voice was heard Nightalong with Marion Triumph Marions Triumph Both told their stories oftheir heartbreaking pasts They explained the terrible conditions theyfaced at the concentration camps They talked about their journeys andfinally their walk of freedom The two of them were so lucky to livebut were all those years of torture worth itElie Wiesel told of how his father and him faced many struggles Hetold of how life was before the Germans came to his hometownTransylvania Elie also talked about the liberation In his book Elietalked about when his family was first taken to the camps how they weresplit up by gender so Elie never saw his sisters or mother after thatday of separation Elie also explains the conditions he was in They hadto sleep in bunks so close together with four to a bunk They were givenlittle food and hardly anything to drink When Elie was in the campshospital for his foot he was given more food and drinks to keep himhealthy Elie would gives the extra bread to his father so he could staystrong as well Throughout his journey Elies faith is tested and hestarts to give up on God but continues to keep going Night Ten yearsafter World War II he decided to write his book so people would possiblyunderstand what it was like He said they may not fully understand butto get an idea of what it
