Angela's feedback:
"You have a well-researched paper and make a solid argument about American involvement in the Vietnam War. It’s clear you understand the topic. Note though that Ho Chi Minh’s last name is Ho, so if you want to shorten it, you should refer to him as Ho and not Chi Minh. Meanwhile, even though Ngo Dinh Diem’s last name is Ngo, it’s common in English to refer to him as Diem. The title of a book should be italicized, and your paper would look neater if you followed a consistent practice with the abbreviation US (either “US” or “U.S.”). Titles such as “president” should not be capitalized when they’re referring to the generic position (e.g., “President Johnson” vs. “the US president said”). When a parenthetical citation appears at the end of a statement, the period goes after the citation only, not both before the closing quotation mark and after the citation. Review is needed to ensure a space is inserted before an opening parenthesis and to take care of careless errors such as “.,” or the random capitalization of words such as “the” and “an” in the middle of a sentence. Double quotation marks should be used consistently throughout the work (even as scare quotes), and there’s a mix up of words with the use of “Tolkien” instead of “Tonkin.”"
