I think the Viking investment exercise was the richest learning experience for me as of today in the whole course and what made the Viking rich is the mistakes that I have learned from previous exercise also the knowledge that I have gain from reading the course materials The Viking investment exercises had all the components to any real conflicts that might rises in the real world of business There were interests right powers The Viking investment exercise helped me to rethink about the overall strategy in solving conflict and made revisit my area of strength and weakens that I have stated early on in my initial goal statement and test my understanding of the course materials I was assigned to teammates kajal Patrick to act as Pat the businessman We did not get a chance work together due to a conflict in setting time to meet I was left alone for a day or two to find teammates During that time I have read the case and developed good understanding of what I need to do Later on I was able join other team ANN Natasha we have communicated via email and phone The Viking exercise gave us as team a chance to work on our negotiation skills and become more skilled negotiators For example we had a significant amount of time to plan a head Viking was the only group exercise had a great of amount time that allow a team to plan a head and explore optionsAs team we agreed that our BATAN is split 250000 the difference the original quote of 700000 and the new quote of 950000 As team we shared our strategy that we need to comprise We were willing to the give up the front lake property to find common groundNegotiations time came in few class mates could not make it to class so the professor had to change the teams again I was told
