Jenn's feedback:
"You have created an introduction that provides a lot of facts and gives the reader a sense of what is to come. Because of the number of facts that are present, the lack of citations is of concern. Any information that you obtained from another source should be cited to avoid plagiarism issues. The introduction does not end with a thesis statement that could guide the direction of the paper. As the paper is written, it is unclear if it is supposed to be about solar storms, your opinion about not having electricity, or you persuading people to think that technology is a good thing. There are a number of grammar, spacing, and punctuation errors throughout the text. Once you have decided a direction for the paper, make sure that your conclusion summarizes the main points you made in the essay and reiterates the thesis statement. "

Read our Academic Honor Code for more information on how to use (and how not to use) our library.
Essays may be lightly modified for readability or to protect the anonymity of contributors, but we do not edit essay examples prior to publication. (And nope, we don't source our examples from our editing service! Check out our Privacy and Content Sharing policies for more information.)
The essays in our library are intended to serve as content examples to inspire you as you write your own essay. They're not intended to be submitted as your own work, so we don't waste time removing every error. This allows our team to focus on improving the library and adding new essays.
