Globalization is essentially a worldwide movement to a politically economically culturally and socially integrated world This movement also brings up the opening of local and nationalistic viewpoints to a more broad perspective of an interconnected yet independent global society However many economist say that globalization will negatively effect smaller andor weaker economies due to the unconstrained movement of labor Whether good or bad every international society is being transformed socially economically and politically because of the evolutionary forces brought about by globalization There are many debates about globalization however there is no denying that we are in the globalization era recently termed by a group of scholars as the The Global AgeThe definition of globalization is simply the widening deepening and speeding up of worldwide interconnectedness Globalization is associated with the changes going on in politics around the world some scholars have said that it is the death of nation-states Globalization is also tied to the rise of global politics which is where the distinctions between domestic and international affairs are irrelevant Essentially globalization makes it so any social political and economic movement in one region will have implications in many other regions throughout the world which leads to the structural change in human social and economic developments Globalization is essentially equal to the process commonly referred to as a shrinking world also known as time-space compression where conflicts in societies even those whom are very confined can be traced to anothers conclusions or state of affairs All in all globalization is a historical process involving the vital transformation in the spatial scale of human social organizations that links distant communities and expands the reach of power relations across regions and continents Lastly globalization is to be separated from the terms internationalization and regionalization There are many pros and cons of globalization which are part of the fuel for the heated debates involved with the process There are many cons associated with globalization including
