During 6 weeks I had the incredible opportunity of working and observed closely the teaching practice that is carried out in a bilingual school I was fortunate of doing my practicum at the bilingual school Carlos III in Aranjuez This school is in my opinion very particular for two facts First it is relatively new it was born in 2008 And second it is bilingual since its birth In my view this is translated into multiple benefits for the students such as students are introduced in the bilingual lessons or in English since they start the school in Infantil with 3 years old Therefore they have the incredible ability of swapping languages between subjectsIn my case I was invited to work with third grader students 3A and 3C in which my tutor teach the subjects of English Science Arts and Crafts in English and Alternativa this last one in Spanish The socio-economic status of the families were middle to high and the students were two excellent groups with outstanding students some of them were much faster and smarter than the average They also were two different groups with very specific characteristics and needs For example the 3A group had the characteristic of being formed by a hyperactive students who was seeking attention almost at every time as a result the lessons were interrupted continuously and the atmosphere created with the rest of his classmates was tense at times In the other group 3B there were also two very particular characteristics One is that in this group there is a student who is following a curricular adaptation his books are different to the rest and his activities too this situation requires specific assistance from the teacher in order to explain new concepts or send tasks this student rarely participates in the class with the rest of their classmates and is the teacher who attend him whenever possible Another of their characteristic is that there is
