The shelves were stocked end to end with endless amounts of ink filled bounded paper Pacing the aisles scouring the shelves title after title reading various summaries and there it is Finally I find the one with the most enticing vivid full color pages colorful photographs of which depict challenging recipes After deciding that this was the book I had been on a ceaseless journey for I checked out and headed to my local supermarket After gathering all of my ingredients I paid for them and headed home to my kitchen to prepare another delectable mealMy indulgences are affected by the need and temptation for experimentationI love to experiment in different ways but one of my favorite is through recipes whether it be by way of recipe magazines traditional passed on recipes or through cookbooksMy favorite magazine that I get is Taste of Home Recipe Cards These magazines are convenient filled with full colored cards that you can pull out of the magazine itself One of the reasons that I love these recipe cards so much is because I use magnetic clips to clip my recipe onto my stove for easy reading I also love these because they come in categories for example Crock Pot Easter Brownies Barbeque etc Its almost impossible to beat those original recipes that come from your mothers grandmothers and even great-grandmothers kitchen These kinds of recipes are just all around good traditional recipes Inside my recipe cabinet is a hat box full of recipes collected over the years and recipes passed down through generations And of course the random recipes that I have created myself or recipes that I have altered to create new recipesSome of the cookbooks that I own include Fix It And Forget It Cookbook by Phyllis Pellman Good Super Juice For Kids by Michael Van Stratten Kitchen Sense by Mitchel Davis The recipes from the Fix It And Forget It Cookbook are crock pot
