Close your mouth Tiffany my older brother would say to me I cant my nose is stuffy I replied back Year As long as I can remember I have always suffered from chronic stuffiness whether it was during the summer or winter I just never had the ability to breathe out of my nose with full capacity My stuffy nose ignited my curiosity about how the human body functioned and I would often sift through hundreds of pages of my moms Harvard and Mayo clinic books to try and diagnose why I was always congested or other ailments I may have suffered from and try and diagnose myself I was also intrigued by my moms stories about her growing up poor in the country side of Jamaica and her mother using holistic treatments to treat any health problems she may have incurred while growing up Being that I was introduced to holistic treatments at a young age it made me realize that the body was capable of fighting off many infections by itself without the aid of prescription medicine but by natural and organic substances and plentiful rest I was taken to several doctors to figure out the issue of my congestion but all they ever did was to give me a prescription for nasal spray or recommend that I use nasal strips none of which treated the actually root of the issue but only treated the symptoms My own experience with dealing with doctors who were too busy to thoroughly exam me has really fueled my desire to help people who continually run from doctor to doctor trying to figure out why they continue to suffer from mysterious health issue While I was volunteering in the ER department a women Mrs Nancy and her son an older gentlemen were sitting with their loved one while he received oxygen for breathing problems She saw that I was a volunteer and started a conversation about
