Students often express themselves through clothing and taking away uniforms would take away their right to express their individuality If schools want students to feel free in anyway they should NOT have uniformsFirst off school uniforms are a bore Schools without uniforms are filled with many vibrant colors which help the overall mood of a school With uniforms the school would be one or two colors creating a boring and almost depressing mood Also there is the fact that school uniforms can be ugly and people having to deal with this everyday could make people angry setting a bad tone each dayFeeling free is of great importance to kids While they are already held back by certain rules and restrictions they still feel they have freedom by simply choosing their own clothes With school uniforms this would take away that feeling of freedom Without this freedom this could cause major issues One issue would be kids acting out They would still feel the need to express themselves and if they couldnt do that through clothing they would find other ways Sure this wouldnt seem likely for many kids but is a sure possibilitySchools already have a strict dress code in the first case which students for the most part abide by This students despite their grumblings can live with But completely taking away their right to wear their own clothes would cause plenty of problems While children cannot use the
