No matter where you are as long as it is a relatively hustling andbustling place you may see ragged old men and disabled people sittingor wandering on the ground begging passer-bys for money Someone willgive their hands to them generously without hesitation because of theircompassion However it may be more helpful for the beggars to be cruelinstead of being soft because giving them money represents that youagree with their lifestyle some of the beggars are not poor or patheticas we can see at all and it also may be a barrier for societysdevelopmentFirstly theres no doubt that you are supporting beggars when you givemoney to them If the homeless beggars are aware that people will helpthem and its so easy to get bread and cheese they may never attempt towork diligently as possible as they can which will definitely ruin therest of their lives forever For instance a healthy and vigorous youngman begins to ask for help from strangers just because of not masteringa specific skill to earn his own life which absolutely should bedespised since it just an inconsiderable excuse for him to be lazy Heprobably can apply a job depending on physical strength alone such asporter mail carrier and garbage man Even if these jobs are tough theyare much decenter than doing nothing but begging People who are so softthat they always spoil poor and weak creatures argue that as long as wehave spare capacity to survive them we should do something helpful andmeaningful However there is an old saying in China Teaching someonefishing is much better than giving them fish We cannot give them ourhelping hands all the time they needs to lead lives via effortWhats more giving helping hands to people in need is reasonable andundoubtful but referring to beggars that pretend to be in povertyand helpless it absolutely should be abandoned One time my dad and Iwere in a subway siting in the last carriage
