In some countries all young people must serve two years in the military The military is composed of brave people who are willing to risk their lives for our country Everyone should have a right to be able to choose their desired career Other young people may not even be physically or emotionally prepared to participate in the military The United States is built on freedom and everyone should have the right to choose whether or not they join the military With this in mind citizens in the United States have the right to chase their dreams If someone does not want to do a particular job then as a United States citizen they should not be forced to do it Everyone has a choice to do what they want Some students may want to take their career on an intellectual level Other students may not even attempt to work just because it is something they do not want to doIn addition some people are not really cut out to be in the military and would rather go to college The military puts people through harsh working conditions Some youth eighteen and over are more cut out for college life instead of the military Some people may not want to run and shoot guns or utilize any weapons Not everyone is able to participate in the militaryInitially some people are not physically or emotionally prepared to participate in the military For example a 500 pound man probably could not complete the extreme exercises the military does Some students may have diseases that would not allow them to do most of the activities done in the military Over sensitive people also would not be cutout for the military Not everyone is emotionally or physically prepared for the militaryIn conclusion people should not be forced to join the military For reasons such as taking rights away from the youth eighteen and over putting people who are not
