Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is a high school program that helps young people not only get ready for ROTC but life itselfThis is my first year in high school as well as my first year as a LET 1 cadet I was nervous at first because I thought people would think I was weird and different but as time went by I learned theres nothing to be scared ofit turns out everyone was unique and different in there own way I love engaging in class the instructors really help us learn how to be better citizens I believe anyone who wants to be a apart of jrotc is going to enjoy it jrotc builds character and leadership by providing guidance and putting cadets in a position that they are not accustomed toThe JROTC instructors are contently putting the cadets in leadership positions In jrotc we have people in different like first sergent company commander sergent and s1 -4 Thosepositions are usally given to the upper classmen those cadets Set an excellent example and by seeing them do good they persuade me to do good as well Some times I get jealous of the older cadets because of how decorated and high ranked they are but that just shows me how much harder I have to work to get to their level of expertise and knowledge I look up to the older cadets in my company how they take leadership and control makes me want to not be like them but better and hopefully set good example for the younger cadets that I have a chance to work with in the future JROTC is about the abiltiy to lead a group and conduct yourself in proper manner it also MOTIVATE PEOPLE TO BE BETTER CITIZENSJrotc help Character-building in many ways they teach us that by building character is that we respect other peoples point of view
