"You've chosen an interesting lens through which to view Miller's play; with some finetuning, you can push it beyond catchy metaphor toward insight. Have you considered grounding the comparison in peer-reviewed medical sources on narcotics and addiction? I suggest this because the current references to the dependency lens are largely delivered in an ironic manner, robbing it of nuance. Further, try to keep going with your final point about memories being a "miracle drug" specifically (e.g., snake oil); can this become productive commentary on how reality and dreams are "sold"?
In addition to watching out for overly casual language (discussed above re: ironical use of drug slang), make sure to proofread. I see a handful of errors, including typos (threw/through); the writing itself has good pacing, flow, and variety. Also, do make sure to properly format the play's title."
