Cat-lover, perfectionist, bookworm, word-nerd. All that and more! Born and raised in New Zealand and a fan of all things written since I was old enough to hold a pen. Pleased to say that my language skills have come a fair way since! It is my personal philosophy, however, to never become complacent in my level of ability and always continue to strive for improvement. Given that much, I take great pleasure in helping others to do the same—which in turn is a learning experience for me, as well!
What types of documents do you enjoy editing the most?
If it's in English, I can edit it, but as my tertiary qualifications err towards the humanities, I most enjoy fiction and other creative works, as well as academic essays, especially on subjects such as film, literature, and more. I also have a great interest in international culture, history, and mythology. If by editing a document I can learn something new, then all the better!
In what subject areas are you an expert?
Creative writing (specifically prose fiction) and literary/film analysis, as well as other areas of the humanities. I also have knowledge of public relations and marketing texts such as press and media releases.
What do you do when you’re not editing on Kibin?
Read books, play video games, work on my own writing projects, or hang out with my two cats!
