More About Mindi
I discovered my passion for words at an early age, and I am thrilled to be able to use that passion in my career. I began editing as a hobby in 2013 and officially started my freelance editing business in 2016. As your editor, I will work with you to craft the best possible work, while also honing in on skills and techniques that you can apply to future writing!
What types of documents do you enjoy editing the most?
I particularly enjoy reading and editing creative fiction, but I have also enjoyed my experience editing marketing materials, academic writing, resumes, and blog posts! I love learning about new topics that I haven't had the chance to learn about before.
In what subject areas are you an expert?
In my current career, I primarily edit fiction and nonfiction novels for a book publisher in Dallas, Texas. I greatly enjoy working with authors over a long period of time and being a part of their publishing dreams. In college, I focused on professional writing, so I have experience working with marketing proposals, resumes, and other professional documents.
What do you do when you’re not editing on Kibin?
When I'm not editing, I enjoy cooking tasty new recipes, exploring Dallas with my husband, and relaxing at home with a good cup of coffee and a book. Some of my favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Jane Austen!

Client Feedback and Praise
Mindi gave e great feedback on my paper as well other sources to use for ideas to make my paper to stand out even more as well how to engage with the reader. Thank You for your help Mindi!!
Thank you for taking time to review my paper. I got many suggestions and you revised a lot of details. I appreciate that.
Thank you for taking the time to edit my paper and make suggestions on how to improve the length.
Sorry, I feel Mindi's edits are not as satisfactory as I had expected. She left comments without giving an alternative expression. She made guesses but most of them were wrong. She used "produce" instead of "product", which is a quite transparent wrong choice of word. I have to say that I am not satisfied with this edit.
