"I love, love, love your engaging opening with the direct question to the audience about what they will be doing in 11 years--it creates excellent audience engagement. You also frame your focus well on how humans have created global warming and our survival depends on the world taking action now. In addition, there’s a fantastic mix of statistics and quotes to support your points, which makes your speech persuasive. However, if you could put some of those stats into perspective in terms of what they mean in tangible terms for the audience having to co-exist with those conditions, it would help allow the audience to connect more to the details and be less stat-heavy/dry in those spots. There were also a few other areas where you could strengthen the speech overall. First, your compelling intro would be further strengthened by incorporating the aspects you cover in the second body paragraph about some people not believing that humans are to blame for climate change. Second, the stat about current carbon dioxide levels being the highest in 800,000 years is repeated twice. Third, your second body paragraph doesn't really come full circle back to the idea you frame it around (some people believing humans aren't the cause)--look to the stellar job you did with development in the first body paragraph for guidance. Fourth, there are some grammar and punctuation errors throughout (mostly comma errors and run-on sentences) and a few typos, so cleaning those up with a good edit will also strengthen your overall presentation (if you have to turn in a written draft). Finally, your conclusion is really strong--you carry the great tone and audience engagement all the way through the end, but consider coming back to the question you ask at the beginning in a more explicit way to give the closing just a little boost."
