Shakespeare was born on the 23rd of April in year 1564 and died on the same day in 1616 He was baptized three days after his birth He was son of John Shakespeare and Mary Arden He was their 3rd child and 1st son Shakespeares father was a leading member of the Common Council so he had a fair amount of money From years 1571 to 1578 Shakespeare studied at King Edward VI Grammar School In 1582 William Shakespeare married Ann Hathaway who was eight years older than him The married couple had their first child in 1583 Shakespeares style of writing had a great impact on the Globe theatre Some of his famous works included Henry VI Richard III Hamlet Taming of The Shrew Midsummer nights Dream Merchant of Venice Julius Caesar Macbeth 12th Night Much Ado About Nothing and The Tempest Shakespeare has a considerably large amount of reputation both in and out of his own country that has still lasted five centuries after his death Shakespeare was a great poet playwright and actor In Shakespeares time there was a disastrous plague that wiped out half of Englands population This plague was the Bubonic plague and also called Black Death Unluckily nobody had the knowledge to explain or cure the plague Today the theory of the disease is that fleas around us receive bacteria that block up their stomachs causing them to become hungry so they start biting at the victims skin Any physical contact with the flea will spread the disease The plague had many effects on the human body such as lymph node swellings called buboes These buboes appeared on the groin and armpits These would often ooze out blood and pus The victims of this disease would also receive dark blotches and other minor symptoms like headaches aching joints nausea vomiting and fever The fever would raise a persons temperature to between 38ordmC-41ordmC The victim of this terrible
