For my business proposal I have decided to keep it simple by considering a golf range Being an avid golfer I know how important it is to have an illustrious range to fire off as many horrible and game winning shots as you can without keeping track of them on a sometimes treacherous scorecard There will always be a need for ranges because it is a necessity to all golfers who are looking to improve their game but nevertheless improvement comes with a cost And a cost to them is a profit to me By choosing to own a golf range I know that I will never be the next Bill Gates or Donald Trump but I will have a lifetime link to the game I have grown to love It is not always the money that makes people happy its the people A great example of this is Carol the lunch lady She tells all the students that she will never be filthy rich but she has enough money to pay her bills and shes her own boss and that is the most important thing to her Personally I agree with this I feel that when you are choosing a business career you should ask yourself if you can get up everyday for the rest of your life and be happy about doing it The first and largest barrier that I will have to be able to conquer is the start up cost Although my initial cost isnt going to be as high as a supermarket or a computer store it still takes a lot of money I just dont have Here is a list of what I will need to start my new sole proprietorship 10000 range balls4000 25 carpet hitting mats800 26 steel dividers2600 200 yards of net 75 high3500 125 yards of net 35 high5000 A small simple structure for 1 or 2 people to work
