Jim's feedback:
"This essay is interesting and insightful. I have a few recommendations to help you further polish your writing, though. The second paragraph starts with an incomplete sentence, apparently for stylistic reasons. Following this, notice the use of present tense and then past tense, which should be reconciled. The description of the doctor’s family includes a comma splice, which is the use of a comma to separate what should be two sentences. The work being discussed is first described as a play, and later referred to as a novel. You tend to repeat terms, e.g., “… turned into baths. The baths are claimed …,” which is easily remedied by writing instead, “ … turned into baths, which are claimed ….” It is good practice to avoid informal terms such as “wraps up.” Note a missing space in “Dr. Stockmann.” The long sentence near the top of page 4 confusingly incorporates a long quote from the play, and should be rewritten, probably as two or three sentences."
