"You've provided a lot of interesting information about these two ship designs, and you've identified some of the advantages that each holds. However, this paper needs a significant amount of work in different areas. Since the assignment is to compare and contrast carracks and caravels, consider including a comment about their similarities and differences in the introduction. Make sure to focus on these similarities and differences and consider cutting out some of the less relevant information (such as the long quote from Albert Einstein). Many sentences are awkwardly written or have misused words. For instance, the sentence that begins with "Both have reputations although of their background stories..." needs adjustment to make grammatical sense. I strongly recommend working with an editor to address issues related to flow, relevance, clarity, and organization as well as the issues with grammar and sentence structure. Keep an eye out for factual errors as well (Portugal is part of Europe, for instance)."
