"You have a decent list of facts from which to form a good paper here, but there are several areas that need to be addressed to make this a functional paper. An essay is not simply a list of facts; it needs some direction and development. One way to address this is to avoid comparing certain aspects of both wars in a single sentence. Instead of writing "World War II was X and the Vietnam War was Y," focus a bit on one conflict before contrasting it with the other. Make sure your essay has a solid introduction and conclusion. When making factual statements, make sure you know what you're measuring and that you have your facts correct. For instance, you give an estimate of American military deaths for the Vietnam War, but the number you list for World War II is the number of deaths from all countries (both military and civilian). This makes those numbers irrelevant to one another. Also, the Great Depression occurred prior to World War II, not the Vietnam War. The shift to discussing the Cold War is jarring toward the end of the essay. If your intent is to compare and contrast World War II and the Vietnam War, make sure you focus on that and avoid straying too far from that topic. Finally, consider having this essay proofread after you've made the necessary changes as it contains a number or grammatical errors."
