Bridget's feedback:
"You are off to a good start, with a clear structure populated with both textual evidence and thesis-oriented claims. As you move forward, I recommend spending some time streamlining and tightening up the body paragraphs, which are currently quite long and dense with plot summary. You may also want to consider giving each character more than one paragraph, depending on how you group the evidence; use a reverse outline technique to get a sense of the main currents in each paragraph and how best to structure the information.
Other tasks include tidying up the punctuation around the direct quotes and proofreading for awkward phrasing and diction, as well as errors. I also see moments that can be streamlined for more sophisticated and efficient phrasing, both for purposes of style and to enhance the claims. For example, consider adding a phrase in or around "Two of the characters..." (para. 1) that emphasizes why you have chosen these two characters ("Two of his most powerful examples are..." or "...facing reality, especially two characters: Amanda Wingfield and Blanche Dubois"). Another example, more at the level of style, comes from the next paragraph; consider: "Amanda Wingfield, mother of Tom and Laura, is a middle-aged..." or any other combination that fuses the current two sentences into a punchier introduction that keeps things moving for the reader."
