"This is a robust compare and contrast that evidences your work with each of the two readings. Overall, your ethos as the reader, researcher, and writer is effective. My main notes are to move into a final draft that is a little more efficient in how it presents the ideas within each paragraph. I recommend revising at the sentence-level to tighten up the prose, pacing, and presentation. Consider, too, using the authors' names rather than "the authors," which will allow the reader to more immediately place themselves in the discussion and keep up with the compare/contrast project. Finally, and at the same detail-oriented level regarding the writing, make sure to proofread. You show good control over the grammar and punctuation, but watch out for minor issues that will need to be resolved before any final submission (e.g., "After comparing the colonies to the less prosperous [missing noun?], the authors state...", p. 1)."
