Of Men Mice George and Lennie were completely opposite in their physical features George was fairly short while Lennie was noticeably tall Lennie was a very large man who created much attention wherever he went and George was small and wiry creating no attention whatsoever George was an average man if not below in his physical strength On the other hand Lennie was extremely strong which was in my opinion the only feature of his that made it possible for him to survive George had a gruff hardened look to his face Lennies face was pale and cheerful with eyes that leaked innocence Mentally George and Lennie did not quite see eye to eye George was very short tempered which often leaded to him yelling at Lennie Lennie was a very patient person who would stay until told it was okay to go Both of them were very loving and devoted to eachother sometimes causing conflict with others George is always aware of his surroundings and the possible dangers at all times Lennie walks his way through life completely oblivious to the dangers of the world George has a very idealistic personality that shows when he tells Lennie the story of their future farm so much that he believes it himself Lennie is almost at all times an optimistic character believing that the outcomes of conflicts will turn out for the best Lennie loves to pet soft things including dead mice George has a firm grasp or reality which often shows when he is telling George to put things down for the fear of their lives George and Lennie were completely opposite in this book In my opinion they are perfect for eachother Because of Lennies immaturity George had the chance to dream Thanks to Georges constant watch over Lennie and his actions Lennie is able to live a rather enjoyable life for somebody in his condition
