Essay Contrast of Yeats and WordsworthBy Mohamad Mohtadi Poetry is often used as a way of expression where a poet may articulate himself in a form much more appreciated then verbal gurgitation Yeats and Wordsworth are two poets who do a marvelous job at capturing the true essence of their feelings and allowing readers to understand what they truly believe Both have an immense admiration for nature though each presents dissimilar views and writing styles in these two poems The World Is Too Much With Us and The Lake Isle of Innisfree Their actual characters their similar views on life and its comparison to nature and their way of expression are what make these poets such particular writers Wordsworth has a very passionate and strong character Hes like a flame very strong and relatively effective He expresses himself rather well in a robust manner that carries across to readers with an exceptionally dominant effect Wordsworth seems to have sensitivity to him that you rarely find in men of his era This is proven by his great visual portrayal and expos of nature Appreciation is a dreadfully subtle word to what this man has for his natural environment Quite forward Wordsworth does not hold back his thoughts which reflexes that he is not a reticent man Also particularly direct not afraid of his outlook being heard or criticized Wordsworth is tolerably opinionated with good reason due to his notable education His views do lack sincerity for he bases them on the stereotype and curtain that man places over the eyes of the beholder Nonetheless there is much accuracy to his opinions though with negligible reference to the authentic views of man Yeats seems to have a more restrained character neither blunt nor imposing He seems more relaxed and laid back then Wordsworth not enormously passionate though passionate he most surely is Yeats conveys his emotion in a very strong way though the effect seems to be
