Jenn's feedback:
"Overall, your paper is very well-written. With just a little bit of work invested into most areas of the paper, you will be able to take it to the next level. The content of your essay is fantastic. You have extensively referenced texts and used quotes to support the points you are trying to make.
As far as communicating the purpose of your paper, I suggest that you make the introduction a bit more concise. With the way you wrote it, the thesis statement almost gets lost. To further clarify the purpose of your paper, I suggest that you elaborate on the conclusion a bit. Use the conclusion as an opportunity to summarize the main points you made in the body of the paper and relate them to the thesis statement. Elaborating on the conclusion will also communicate to the reader that you stated focused on your purpose throughout your writing.
There is an interesting phenomenon regarding formatting, with periods being in the middle of sentences, seemingly every time you tried to create a new paragraph. I am not quite sure why this is, but you should look into this. Ensure that the periods are at the end of sentences and that new paragraphs start with an indent.
Last, overall you have an excellent command of writing conventions. There are punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure issues scattered throughout that need to be resolved through a round of proofreading."
