In any given company there are several types of employees Most middle to large sized companies have some type of upper management middle management and regular workerspeons There are many differences and few similarities between the divisions of workers Such things as salary and responsibility are only two things that differ between the three groups The highest-ranking group is the division labeled upper management This group usually consists of overpaid men in their late 50s that either own part of the company or have been with the company for several years These individuals seemingly have the least responsibility They are usually only concerned with the bottom line and nothing else Profit is generally the only thing on their mind These people usually never see or speak with the lowest ranking employees regular workerspeons Upper management will instead only direct middle management on what to do Or in most cases they simply yell at middle management for not making the peons make enough money for upper management to golf with Right below upper management we have middle management These are the people that the peons will be most familiar with Middle management will directly rule the peons assigning them tasks and giving raises accordingly Occasionally maybe once per quarter middle management will have to have a meeting with upper management in order to discuss how well the company is doing They would discuss such things as past quarter earnings and predictions for the next quarter earnings This is also the time at which upper management may get angry at middle management about that golfing money described above This of course will make both upper and middle management be in bad moods The bad mood possessed by middle management will then be directly taken out upon the peons An angry attitude from middle management may be all it takes to get the peons to be more productive making upper management happy which will in turn allow middle
