Angela's feedback:
"It's clear that you're focusing on the issue of poverty and education in your essay, but what's less clear is the purpose of your work or your main message. Revising your thesis statement so that it reflects the content of your essay would go a long way in helping the reader understand your main point and the supporting points you discuss in your body paragraphs. If you're analyzing Dan Cardinali's video and the book The Other Wes Moore in specific, these details should also be included in your introduction. To give your essay a neater look, double (2.0) line spacing should be maintained within and between paragraphs. There are a number of writing convention errors to address, but recasting run-on sentences and sentence fragments will bring more clarity to your writing. Your use of semicolons should be revisited, and there are typos with words such as "home lessness." Remember that anything directly quoted from an outside source should be placed in quotation marks so that the reader understands the words you're presenting are not your own."
