Dear Fakir As you would recall to prove your point that fate rules a persons life and those who interfered did so to their sorrow you had cast a spell on a monkeys paw The spell allowed the paw to grant three different wishes to three different people Major tragedies befell upon the people that wished from the paw and impeded with fate The last person to have made a set of three wishes was a man by the name of Mr White His first wish to receive a sum of two hundred pounds was only granted through the collecting of this exact amount as a compensation for the death of his son Herbert The second wish that was asked of the paw that their son should arise from his grave and live again was never really proved to have come true Nevertheless the assumption was that the knocking on the door at such a late hour of the night could have only been Herbert Being that the knocking stopped only after Mr White made his third wish that Herbert should return to his grave is somewhat of a proof that both the second and third wish had actually come true I beg of you since I too was one of the three people to acquire pain and sorrow for not adhering to the warning about wishing from the paw please do not cast this spell ever again I have several reasons for this request Primarily a situation may arise in which an individual will request a wish whereby altering the course of fate and bring a catastrophe to his life However had he been aware of the outcomes of making a wish he would have avoided the whole incident Secondly there are many people in life that until a disastrous experience occurs to them they will ignore the warnings of others I believe these types of people would still
