While it doesn't really have a thesis statement, exactly, it serves a clear purpose of sharing a snapshot of Siziwe's day as well as what she's feeling at this particular moment in time. I think you could improve the overall readability by breaking up your second paragraph a bit -- it feels quite bulky and substantial compared to the paragraphs that frame it. That said, I like that the final paragraph is a short sentence, as it gives that statement more weight.
