Throughout history great men and women had lived to lead their lives and their fellow people Whatever ideals beliefs or principles they may have had they stood up to it and for some even in the face of death They became heroes legends idols that were looked upon by their people Their names became household words that lasted since the beginning of their greatness up until now As great as they are they were humans as well They laughed and shouted madly just like us They played and worked just like us They needed food just like us They needed love and understanding just like us The only difference was that they did something that most of us were very hesitant to do the conviction to take control of our own livesThe movie The Kings Speech explicitly embodied the greatness of humanity in the powerful characters of Prince Albert and Lionel Logue In the beginning of the movie it showed Prince Albert talking to a crowd of people in a rather stammered manner that brought him great embarrassment In fact as expressed in the movie he had been trying to get rid of the stammer for a long time without success that he already resolved himself to succumb to his ailment forever He was rather hopeless compared to his wife who relentlessly sought other methods of treatment that fortunately brought her to Lionel Logue Logue was a therapist that had rather unorthodox methods of treatment but was the only one who was able to cure the stammer of Prince AlbertPrince Albert was a man who was stuck in the past In Logues first consultation with Prince Albert he already found out that it required more than just breathing exercises As Logue was prying into the life of Prince Albert he found out his bitter past of isolation from his parents insults of his brother and the abuses of his maids This bitter past rather explained
