But even though you have put together a solid summary of this period in Chinese history, there are many distracting capitalization problems in the work. For example, proper nouns such as "China" and "Soviet" (when referring to the Soviet Union) should always be capitalized. Meanwhile, the term "party" should also be capitalized in "Nationalist Party" to match the treatment of the term "Chinese Communist Party." The word "mainland" should not be capitalized. There are also other writing convention errors such as issues with sentence structure. The statement that begins "The civil war carried" in particular should be recast for clarity. Since you've indented each of your paragraphs, no extra space should appear in between them."
