Mr Foreign Prime Minister No one feels more strongly about water quality than I do and the effects it has on environment and us Sometimes one is so caught up in ones life they dont have time to acknowledge the minor issues that are brought up but before long those minor issues wont be so minor anymore As I stand here before you today I have no intention of disrespecting anyone who might have an opposing opinion If offense is taken I extend my sincerest apologies in hope all will be forgiven If I hold back the knowledge I appertain I would be wasting the time and effort of all my years of study and research I would be letting not only myself down but I would be letting down the future generations that have to grow up facing a problem that could have been easily prevented Sir France has always prided itself on being at the cutting edge of water technology Napoleon Bonaparte built aqueducts and modern sewer systems so France could have the most advanced water system in the world What do sewers have to do with anything Its not so much the sewers but what they represent Napoleon understood national pride The Parisians use to drink out of fountains and swim in the same for fun but not anymore Every time someone asks for water in France it comes in a bottle Is this the kind of world we want to live in Is this the kind of water we want to drink where the mercury content is 27 parts per billion So I ask you Mr Foreign Prime Minister what cost is too high for your health and when your place in history is at stake The current condition of Frances water system is due impart by our own narcissistic ways it is our own doing All of my work is in vain unless the support is
