Bridget's feedback:
"Your essay has a good sense of structure, with focused paragraphs clearly building up evidence for the thesis from the organizational point of view. However, either due to the wording or the framework itself, the thesis is rather jumbled: Macbeth's transformation is due to three motivational factors, which are defined as people, one of whom is Macbeth himself. Cleaving Macbeth in two makes for a confused (and confusing) analysis, with one result being misogynistic finger-pointing in both the argument and the diction in the conclusion, and ironically, emphasizing Macbeth's weakness.
Using the current moving parts of this draft, a more logical structure might discuss Macbeth himself as the final body paragraph, exploring how outside influences (the witches and his wife) interact with his own personal failings endemic to his character. If you do want to blame the women, casting Macbeth as entirely a victim, you will need to really tighten up the approach and use of evidence: the text supports this reading, but this essay's have-its-cake-and-eat-it-too approach cannot."
