The Time Machine The book I read for my book report was the Time machine It was written by H G Wells and its copyright date is 1980 This book is very interesting to read because it is filled with excitement sorrow and a lot of mystery It has many different settings and a very interesting and fascinating plot In the beginning of the book a group of people are debating the issue of time travel The time traveler says that the key to time travel is his theory of the fourth dimension time The next day the group is waiting at the time travelers house where he said to meet him the time traveler walks into the room beaten up half starved and dirty He goes to his room where he refreshes himself then he walk downstairs and begins telling them about his adventure he just had He starts his journey by claiming he traveled forward in time to the year 802701 He first meets a race of humans called the Eloi the Eloi are playful childlike humans with no fears or danger except for the darkness He soon finds his time machine was stolen by another race of humans called the Morlocks who are cannibal ape-like humans who dwell underground He meets an Eloi named Weena who helps him on his journey to find his stolen time machine The time traveler finally find the time machine in an empty dark room with a bronze frame He soon gets trapped in by the Morlocks but escapes in the future before they get him His curiosity soon drives him further to the future to see how the world will end On his way he gets attacked on his first stop by a giant Centipede and on his second stop by giant Crab-like creature He soon returns home and the next day is seen in his laboratory He tells the man that he will be
