Many Tibetans feel their culture has been taken from them since the takeover by China more than 50 years ago The influx of Chinese people and government is pushing the Tibetans to the margins of society This news report examines the loss of an ancient and traditional culture How have Tibets components of culture refer to your text been affected by the Chinese government and people Is Tibet an example of a cultural war Why or why not The Chinese government takeover of Tibet 50 years ago has caused a cultural war Although the Tibetans and their leader His Holiness the 14th the Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyasto have chosen to try and peacefully resolve their occupation by the Chinese government The influx of Chinese people has greatly affected the Tibetan culture in a way that has been pushing them to become a sub culture and the Chinese becoming the popular culture This is being done by the Chinese government imposing their beliefs of religion making them the norm The Chinese government has been arresting those of the highest value among the Tibetans for not denouncing his Holiness the Dalai Lama The occupation of the Chinese government will also no doubt dramatically affect Tibetan symbols of beliefs and affect their language Chinese language differences will transform the continuity of the Tibetan culture by not allowing the elders to teach children stories ideas and religion passed down for many generations This no doubt changes how they view the world around them The sufferings of the Tibetan people are made greater by the removal of their symbols and the Chinese governments violations of human rights in their own country and their support of oppressive regimes around the world The leader of the Tibetan people the Dalai Lama will no doubt continue to gain control of his government peacefully to put an end of this cultural war once and for all
