Pythagoras is thought of as the very first pure mathathimatican pythagoras was born around 560 BC and died around 480 BC Pythagoras accomplished a lot in not only math but in music and space as well He was also a messanger that travled back and forth from greece to egypt But before pythagorgas was a math maticain he was a philiospher Pythagorass made some huge contributions to the world of math and numbers His most famous math accomplishmet is A2B2C2 which has something to do with the hypotanuse of a triangle Pythagoras also came up with the concept of geometrical algebra For example He solved equations such as aA-xX2 By using these grometrical means they could use this equation and find the deminsions of a ship and it volume and the payload that could be on the ship Pythagoras Achivement in music are still the basis for music in moderen day times Pythagoras found that when he streched two string out across a box One string was 14 shoter than the other and he pulled the shorter one back as far as he could it made the same sound that if he pulled the long one half the distance of the short string This created an octive witch is still used when composers write music This is perty much still the basias of all music to day So in conclusion Pythagoras has set many examples we use today Most likely if pythagoras would not have been around or came up with these theroys then modern day man would be strugling a tad bit with music and grometrical Algebra The End
