The time I felt most vulnerable was the time I was sent to a camp for two weeks at the age of ten The camp was a YMCA camp in the north Georgia Mountains about four hours away from home It was the first time I had ever been away from home for longer than two days I felt like a little five year old and the worse thing was that I was a smaller skater punk with long hair I felt like I was unable to take up for myself My parents dropped me off and when they left I knew no one I wish I had gone with a friend I probably would have had a great time After five days with nine days left I had bugged them so bad that they made their way up to the mountains and picked me up You would think I would have missed it just a little But there is no way I missed that place one bit I did learn several things about myself during my short five-day stay I was quick and tough even though I was small I think it was a smart move to do this but I am just grateful they picked me up There were many things to do I did have fun although I had missed my family and home too much They had baseball basketball white water rafting the blob good food and also hiking trips The main thing there was a wrestling match that you would pick someone to wrestle Of course I was the one chosen to wrestle the biggest and meanest kid I was small but quick and ended up being a good match I held my own and gained respect from the others After the match I started making friends I felt like I was a problem for my parents That is why I thought that they sent me to
