A paradox is a being object or situation said not to be true but it is true I work almost everyday in a workplace outside of school where these paradoxes come up commonly time to time One paradoxical situation most common is when customers ask for a particular product and that specific product is right there in front of their own eyes The second most occurring situation is when customers begin yelling and raising their voice with me when I dont have manager powers to do certain tasks The least common paradoxical situation but most annoying is when a customer wants me to ring them up on the register when two are clearly open At work the most common paradox that occurs is the time when customers ask for a particular product and that specific product is right in front of their own face Customers walk in and ask for cartoon theme paper plates which are in aisle two then they go to aisle two then ask again for the scooby-doo plates and theyre standing right in front of them Customers also ask if our store carries a specific balloon and theyre standing there looking at the wall of everything we carry and clearly dont see it These are the most common situations that occur at my work Customers begin yelling at me to exchange items and return items when I dont have manager powers to do those actions Only managers at my work are allowed and have access to do returns and exchanges and regular employees cant perform these tasks so they must call for help Customers stand there and complain when it takes a minute or two to request a manager to front for assistance Unfortunately its not the employees fault but we still take the entire wrath for it Makes me wonder why I make myself put up with direct customer orientation The most annoying paradoxical situation that occurs at my workplace
